The Ledyard Parks and Recreation Commission has scheduled the following projects:
 
Phase II Highlands Lake
 
 
 
This area will have new play apparatus, a large pavilion with tables and grills and two docking systems with new buoys.
 
Lacrosse/Soccer Field (Purdy Field)
 
 
 
This field is being construction between Clarks Field and Gallup Hill Road.  Additional work will also be scheduled for Clarks Field.
 
Ledyard Fairgrounds
 
 
Additional electrical work for the lower area and building is being completed.
 

Phase I at Highlands Lake was completed this summer (2006).  Three aerators were put in the Lake, the beach was upgraded and lifeguards were hired.
 
 
Two projects that were completed last fall (2005) are - the Depta Soccer Field and the Judge Crandall Football Field.  Sprinklers and sod were installed at both fields.
