Nutrition to Prevent/
Heal from Cancer
This class is for those wanting to learn how to prevent cancer, as well as for those who may have received a cancer diagnosis. We will discuss cancer contributing factors and the importance of lifestyle choices to prevent and heal from cancer. You will learn about the cancer protective diet, focusing on which foods to include in your diet and which ones to avoid. We will discuss raw and cooked foods, alkaline vs. acidity, cooking methods, juicing and organic vs. conventional foods. You will leave with a better understanding of what you can do to prevent and/or heal from cancer.
Lose Weight & Feel Great
Are you struggling to lose weight? Maybe you've gone on a diet and lost some weight, but as soon as you stop the diet, the weight creeps back on. How many of us have tried different diets with the hope of finding the right one that will work for us? I've had the privilege of coaching many wiight loss clients , and what I have found is that diets don't work for long-term weight loss. You need a better approach. In this workshop, we'll explore why diets don't work and you'll learn tips, tools and techniques that you can use to lose wight naturally and keep it off. You'll also learn the top three foods that may be sabotaging your weight loss and what you can do about it.
This class is designed to support you with your healthy eating lifestyle. We will share ideas, recipes, new health-related findings & research and more within a supportive group of like-minded individuals. During this 8-week series, we will also be discussing Dr. Mark Hyman’s newest book, Food – What the Heck Should I Eat? This book sorts through the conflicting research on each food group, explaining what we’ve gotten wrong, and revealing which foods nurture our health and which pose a threat. Purchase of the book is recommended, but not required.
