PHOTOGRAPHY
Are you interested in increasing your proficiency in photography? Local photographer, Barry Watrous, will be conducting an 8 session course with 4 of the sessions being hands on in classroom settings and 4 as various local field trips. Some of the topics covered: The photographer’s responsibility regarding the camera and subject matter, producing landscape, portraiture, sunset and or sunrise shots, effectively using backlighting and the use of these in producing stunning street photography, understanding the 4 basic elements of a camera, lighting, depth of field, shutter speed, lens focal length and how these work together best for particular photos, and understanding the basic elements of photography. Recommended cameras: Point and Shoot and DSLR. Syllabus handed out at signup.
